Billie Eilish to make her TV debut
American singer Billy Eilish will play in an episode of the new series of Donald Glover “Swarm” (Swarm). This will be the first acting work of the performer.
The project tells the story of a woman whose obsession with pop star Ni’Ja takes a violent turn. The show, which explores the dark side of American culture, features an all-star cast including singer Chloe Bailey and actor Ricky Thompson. About it writes CNN.
Eilish posted a snippet of her participation on the social network. In it, the singer talks with the main character of the series Dre. In the video, Dre tells the character Eilish that she sees “milk spilled on the carpet.” Eilish then asks, “What color was the milk?” and Dre replies, “It was red.” “Have you hurt anyone?” Eilish whispers. To which Dre replies, “Yes.” And the grinning heroine Eilish says: “Very good.”
Billie Eilish is 21 years old. She rose to fame in 2015 with the release of her debut single Ocean Eyes. The singer has seven Grammy awards. She was included in Time magazine’s “100 Most Influential People of 2021” list.
In 2019, her debut album When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go? topped the US (Billboard 200) and British (UK Albums Chart) charts, and the single “Bad Guy” took first place in the Billboard Hot 100 (USA). Eilish herself, thanks to this achievement, became the first person born in the 21st century to top the Hot 100.
