Former United States President Joe Biden has denied reports that members of his family may have received $1.3 million in payments from a Chinese company.
Such an accusation was made by the previously Republican-controlled Committee on Oversight and Accountability of the House of Representatives of the US Congress. When asked to comment on this information, Biden said that this is not so, transmits TASS, referring to the White House press pool.
On Friday, March 17, the press service of the committee said that the Republicans found financial reports that said that from 2015 to 2017, members of the Biden family and their companies received a total of $ 1.3 million from the Chinese State Energy HK Limited.
