The Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) in the Donetsk direction lost up to 120 people and several pieces of military equipment. Two armored combat vehicles, two vehicles, two combat vehicles of the Uragan multiple launch rocket system (MLRS), as well as a D-30 howitzer, were put out of action.
On the losses of Ukrainian troops over the past day told on Saturday, March 18, at the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. According to the agency, in the South-Donetsk and Zaporozhye directions, the Russian Armed Forces (AF) defeated enemy units in the areas of the settlements of Novomikhailovka and Vugledar in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Levadnoe and Orekhov, Zaporozhye region. The losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine amounted to 50 people.
In the Krasnolimansky direction, units of Ukrainian troops were hit in several settlements in the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR), as well as in the DPR. The Armed Forces of Ukraine lost more than 100 people, two armored combat vehicles, as well as the Gvozdika howitzer in a day. In the Kherson direction, the losses of Ukrainian troops amounted to 25 people. Two D-30 howitzers and four vehicles were put out of action.
Even up to 60 people and several units of military equipment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were lost in the Kupyansk direction. There, Russian troops inflicted a defeat on enemy manpower and equipment in the areas of the settlements of Dvurechnaya, Sinkovka, Kotlyarovka in the Kharkov region and Stelmahovka in the LPR.
Over the past 24 hours, the RF Armed Forces have defeated 89 artillery units in firing positions, manpower and equipment in 107 districts.
The Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation reported on the eve that the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Donetsk direction per day amounted to 135 people. Out of service was bred 14 Ukrainian drones.
